We’re thrilled to announce a unique collaboration with Parfums de Perse, offering a consignment opportunity to showcase the work of two exceptional artists: Ainaz Nejat and Merya. Each artist will be featured in a dedicated, month-long exhibition on the newly renovated second floor of the Parfums de Perse space. This stunning venue provides a prime setting to celebrate and highlight the creativity of these talented individuals.
Ainaz Nejat is a Montreal-based mixed media artist and designer, as well as the founder of AJ Design. Her work seamlessly blends cultural heritage with a contemporary artistic approach, resulting in creations that are both deeply meaningful and uniquely captivating.
Merya is a North African-Canadian artist celebrated for her mastery of visual Arabic calligraphy and native North African symbolism. Born and raised in Algeria, she infuses her rich cultural heritage into contemporary art, delving into themes of identity, migration, and spiritual healing. Her innovative work merges traditional motifs with modern techniques, crafting pieces that elegantly bridge the past and present. Now based in Canada, Merya continues to expand her artistic practice, offering a profound and unique perspective on the intersection of heritage and modernity.
